  Introduction & Characters

  SS-MC-GIGA  series gigabit Ethernet media converter module realizes the connection conversion from 1000BASE-TX to 1000BASE-SX/LX. Supporting IEEE802.1Q and ISL, and as well as backbone linking. It extends the transmission distance of Ethernet from 100m of copper cable to 2km or 100km (single-mode optical fiber). In the meantime, optical fiber still features resistance of electromagnetism interference so that the optical transceiver can be widely applied in computer networks with long distance and broad bandwidth.
