SS-IC-240 1～4E1/10Base-T Interface Converter
Introduction & Characters SS-IC-240 1～4E1/10Base-T interface converter is a sort of Ethernet bridge of high performance to fulfill the transmission of 10M Ethernet data on 1~4-route G.703 E1 channel as an extender of Ethernet, which realizes the linkage of two Ethernets at a lower cost by taking advantage of E1 channel provided by the existing network. TIC-2040 can automatically learn the MAC address of the linked LAN continuously, and transmit the aim address to frame in another LAN, at the maximum transmitting speed 7.68Mbps. With the up-to-date ASIC circuit design, TIC-2040 can carry out real-time analysis on up to 4 E1 transmission chains, analyze the line quality of E1 chain, and cut off the transmission of the chain automatically on the occasion of open circuit, error code, delay or alarm so as to avoid adverse effects on Ethernet transmission such as open circuit and frame losses so on. The transmission on this chain will be recovered upon E1’s recovery of transmission.
